In 2015, we were commissioned to produce the acoustic design for the Lingfield Notre Dame School Music Center, to be built on top of the Drama Studios existing classrooms, with a budget close to £2M. This exciting project involved creating two main music teaching rooms, each covering an area of 1180 ft2, along with eight practice rooms and one dedicated drum room. Our primary objective was to ensure compliance with the BB93 regulations of the United Kingdom, focusing on criteria such as background noise levels from plant room and mechanical ventilation, acoustic separation between rooms, airborne transmission, rain noise levels, and optimal room acoustic conditions.

Notably, the Drum Studio room, situated adjacent to the teaching rooms, exhibits remarkable sound insulation, boasting an impressive sound reduction above 60 dB.
